Look at it this way, all the more reason to at least do some research and read up on blogs, books, and other things dealing with the craft. Especially all those herb books!!! You'd be surprised how much you can use with natural herbs than over the counter. This something most tend to be lacking. At least your thinking about it and willing to learn. Trust me your patience will be rewarded, I am sure the goddess has her reason for you to wait those four years. You can still pray with her in the meantime.

I can understand how you feel- really I can. But nothing is stopping you from getting in touch with Nature! :)
You can practice magick without tools- all you need is yourself, the elements, and the Goddess. You can educate yourself on other things that your parents probably won't forbid. Such as Astrology and learning the phases of the moon. You could also learn about crystals and minerals. History. Just to name a few. Blessings to you on your journey!

I'm confused, why? You can do the dedication at any time in yr life,there is no specific age, as long as yr ready mentally and spiritually. hell i did mine by myself. There is no age limit to having to wait til when u can do the dedication,Granted u may not be able to "openly" practice magic,but the dedication does NOT have to wait til then. If u want i can send over the one i used, it took no longer then 1/2 hr, if even that, and then its done:) U could do this in yr room while the folks r sleepin, or wherever u could have a bit of alone time to complete it. Each of u can do it on yr own or even together.
Yes u may have to be secretive til yr 18 to openly practice, but that is ok, u can use this time to study everything u can get yr hands on, a word of advice to a very good book to get, its used world wide and is an excellent learning aid to those new on their Journey, its called Bucklands Complete book of Witchcraft, By Raymond Buckland...the book is also know as the "Big Blue".

Can you not do your own personal dedication ceremony? You can still do a group one later, but why not do a self dedication ritual? I did.
